The room was stylish, spacious, and fitted with modern amenities. the adjoining bathroom offered generous space, enhancing the overall experience.
Initial impressions were marred by a somewhat dingy hallway, though the room was clean. The dining arrangements fell short. despite being told no reservation was needed, a long wait for a table occurred even when the restaurant seemed half full. The food itself tasted like standard pub fare, which didn't match the attractive setting. Traffic noise could be bothersome if rooms were chosen at the front, especially with quarry lorries starting early in the morning. Lastly, wireless internet access only worked downstairs, not in the room, which was a bit of a letdown.

The rooms sport a refreshing refurbishment, with comfortable beds and modern showers that add a touch of convenience. Breakfast offers excellent options, perfect for fueling up before a day of exploring the nearby attractions.
The hotel is located on a busy main road, creating a noticeable noise issue from passing vehicles, especially for rooms at the front. Rooms could use a deep clean, as some areas might have been overlooked, and the internet connection is slow and unreliable, which can be frustrating. Dining experiences were somewhat hindered by slow service and a limited TV entertainment selection, which could be a letdown for some guests looking to unwind after a long day.

The location was perfect for my business trip, being close to local attractions and amenities. The room was nice and comfortable, and I appreciated the friendly staff who were attentive throughout my stay. The dining options were good too, and I enjoyed a lovely meal during my visit. the shower did have a problem with flooding if used at too high a pressure, which could use some attention.
